REORGANISATIONS AT TIKKURILA 9/2005

Mr Ilpo Jousimaa, Vice President, Tikkurila Oy, was appointed President of Tikkurila Coatings Oy, the company responsible for industrial coatings within Tikkurila, part of the Kemira Group, on 18 August 2005. Due to this, reorganisations continue in his former organisation Tikkurila Deco Central and Western Europe.

Mr TAPIO SAARELA will be appointed President of the Polish subsidiary TBD S.A. with location at Debica as from 1 November 2005. His previous position in the company was Vice President, Operations. He was also member of the Management Board, which he will chair from now on. Mr Saarela will report to Mr Visa Pekkarinen, President and CEO of Tikkurila Oy.

The subsidiaries in Germany (Pigrol Farben GmbH) and Hungary (Tikkurila Kft.) will be the responsibility of Mr MARKKU IMMONEN, Sales Director for Deco Central and Western Europe, as from 1 October 2005. Working from Vantaa, Finland, and reporting to Mr Pekkarinen, he will continue to bear responsibility for the exports of decorative paints to Central and Western Europe.

Ms MAARIT TASKINEN will be appointed Sales Director for Tikkurila Paints Oy as from 1 October 2005. Stationed in Vantaa, Finland, she will bear responsibility for exports of decorative paints to Russia. She worked previously as Export Manager for Eastern Exports and was responsible for Tikkurila Paints Oy's representative office in Moscow. She will also continue with the last-mentioned task and report to Mr Janno Paju, Vice President, Tikkurila Oy. Mr Paju continues to bear responsibility for Tikkurila Deco Eastern Europe but transfer from Vantaa, Finland, to Tallinn, Estonia, on 1 October 2005.
