Tikkurila's Trend colours
Every two years, Tikkurila releases a new trend colour collection at the Habitare Exhibition as a source of inspiration for interior designers. The 12 colours in the collection have been taken from the Tikkurila Symphony colour system.

The “Piilo” palette represents the natural colour environment of the forest that inspires those people who wish their home to be a safe haven. The wood, earth and soil tones are all reminiscent of a log cabin or a hideaway in the woods. |

The “Viive” palette is characterized by lucidity and airiness, reminiscent of the mist and warmth of late summer playing on surfaces gently faded by the sun. These colours are well suited to the light tones of Scandinavian interiors with a hint of nostalgia. |

The “Kierre” palette represents bright retro colours, seamlessly combined with manga and modern art, the colours recalling the spirit of the Technicolor era. |
The lighter trend shades are suitable as general colours, while darker colours can be used for accentuating walls or detailing. Use of colour can help define space according to furniture placement, for example, or even to create a mural.
