Taika “Magic Christmas Balls”

Take your worn-out Christmas tree decorations and turn them into “Taika Christmas Balls” using Taika Pearl Paint or Taika Pearl Glaze. Dipping is the best method.

Open a can of Taika Pearl Paint. Grasp the ball by its stem and dip it completely into the paint. A one-litre can is large enough for small and medium-sized balls. Lift the ball out and let the excess paint drip back into the can. |
Hang the ball up to dry on a clothes line, for example, not forgetting to spread some paper out underneath! Every now and again you’ll need to carefully wipe the drops of paint from the bottom of the ball, otherwise they will dry into lumps. |
If you use Taika Pearl Paint, the balls will dry in a few hours, but leave them overnight to be on the safe side.
You can also experiment with Taika Pearl Glaze, especially if the balls have glitter on the surface. Leave them to dry for at least a few days.
