Brighten up your home with a colourwash

Wall: undercoat Feelings Interior Paint 4531, colourwash Feelings Interior Paint 4610.
| Applying a colourwash is a fast and simple way to brighten up single-colour walls in the home. Choose either delicate, hazy colours or clear, bright ones - colourwash will bring walls to life! Be sure to select your colours with care: the closer the effect paint colour is to the undercoat, the more delicate the pattern will be. For best results, choose an effect paint that is slightly darker and more muted than the undercoat. |
Instructions

| Apply a Tikkurila acrylate interior paint such as Feelings Interior Paint or Joker to undercoat the walls, and allow to dry thoroughly. Dilute one part of ready to use Feelings Effect Paint with one part water. Apply the Effect Paint to the wall with rotating strokes as though washing it. Do not press hard - wipe it on lightly to spread the paint evenly. Apply 2 or 3 coats for an even and colour-saturated finish. Allow the paint to dry between coats. |
