Pattern roller for a three-dimensional effect

This warm Oriental look was created with a pattern roller and Feelings Effect Paint. Wall: undercoat Feelings Interior Paint 4621, Feelings Effect Paint 4622.
A pattern roller gives you an interesting and impressive finish. You can make it subtle and delicate or dramatic, just as you wish. The colour of the Effect Paint makes the biggest difference as the undercoat only peeps through a little. Many different types of pattern roller giving a three-dimensional effect are available, but the only limit is your imagination: try using a plastic bag or shammy leather instead of a normal paint roller!
Instructions
Paint the walls with Feelings Interior Paint or another type of Tikkurila acrylate interior paint. Leave to dry.
Thin Feelings Effect Paint with water about 20%.
Apply the Effect Paint thinly with a roller in strips of about half a metre. Pattern the wet paint immediately by rotating a pattern roller in it. This works best when done by people, one to apply the paint and the other to do the patterning. Clean the roller from time to time by rolling in clean wrapping paper or wipe it with a damp cloth.
