| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated must be dry, and the temperature of the air, surface and coating must be at least +5˚ C and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %. | |
| Preparation | Unpainted surfaces:
Clean unpainted surfaces from dirt and dust. If necessary, smooth the surfaces with a suitable Presto Light Filler. Prime with Luja Universal Primer. Apply 1-2 coats of Harmony or Novaplast 7 tinted to the colour of the final product. Previously painted surfaces: Wash down previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse carefully with water. If necessary, smooth the surfaces with a suitable Presto Filler. Use sandpaper to sand painted glossy surfaces until they are matt and remove the grinding dust. If the colour difference between the substrate and the finish is significant, we recommend to apply one coat of Harmony or Novaplast 7 tinted to the colour of the final product. |

| Painting | Stir TUNTO Fine Textured Finish well before use. Use a roller to apply the product. The surface can be patterned e.g. with a wide brush, wallpaper knife, firm brush or patterning roller. Spread the coating in a thick layer on interior walls approximately one m2 at a time and make the final patterning on the surface immediately. Avoid too thick layers because they may cause the dry surface to crack. For a homogeneous surface reserve enough coating mixed in a single container to avoid possible colour difference. | |
| Filling | If plain paintwork or a different kind of structure surface is wanted, level Tunto surface with suitable Tikkurila Presto filler. Continue treatment from Preparation Unpainted surface. | |
| Cleaning of tools | Clean tools with water or Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner). | |
| Maintenance instructions | Clean surfaces by dry cleaning with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush.
