Tikkurila Profe – more extensive services for professionals
Tikkurila develops its operations continuously to be able to offer its customers innovative products and versatile services. The Profe – Tikkurila Professional Services concept, which is being launched today at the Colour and Surface 11 fair in Helsinki, is an answer to the wishes of professional customers. The services are now available in Finland, and they will be launched later, according to a separate schedule in Tikkurila's other countries of operation.
Profe is a service concept for professional customers, which allows Tikkurila to provide more extensive and targeted services for various operators in the trade. The concept takes account of each group's special needs. In addition, Tikkurila’s B2B sales force is sharpening up its field operations. A unified Profe brand name has been established for existing services, as well as for those under development. This brand clearly defines Tikkurila Professional Services as a separate service concept.
Customised service packages for painting contractors and building developers are included in projects, with a service package for designers available in the Designer’s Portfolio. Tailor-made training is being provided for retailers’ B2B sales staff. New, easy-to-use ways of meeting customer needs have been developed for painting contractors working in the consumer sector.
"Our vast range of ready-for-use materials in electronic form supports the customer, while enabling us to provide personalised service to our professional customers more efficiently than before. We have been sharpening up our services, aiming them at various target groups more efficiently in order to meet their precise needs," explains Jarkko Mattila, Tikkurila’s Sales Director for Professionals.
In future, the majority of services will be provided over the Internet, and gradually as mobile versions. Advice and support will be available, to meet concrete service needs through electronic channels, regardless of the time of day. For urgent technical matters, assistance is also available via a phone service for professionals on weekdays.
Tailor-made services for various customer groups
"Tikkurila's B2B sales force will serve our project customers and assist them in information searches related to products, colours, technical solutions for painting and other surface treatment options," says Jarkko Mattila. They will handle communications with other Tikkurila experts and, for example, will provide on-site consultation upon request.
Tikkurila’s Contractor Pool offering painting services will be renewed by the end of 2011, and its selection of services for both consumers and Contractor Pool members will be expanded and improved. The Designer Pool helps consumers to search for interior designers in the areas they wish. The service concept will be supplemented with a Profe Search Engine by the end of the year. This B2B version of the Contractor Pool targeted at professionals will help building developers, purchasers and designers locate skilled contractors for their projects.
