| Colour Range | Available in the colours of Lacquer colour card, Semi-transparent wood finishes colour card and Lapponia colour card. Make a trial application to ensure that the colour is correct. If the lacquer is too dark, it can be lightened with colourless Unica Super semi-matt, or White Sprit 1050. | |

| Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity | Dust dry after 1 hour, touch dry after 2 hours, recoatable after 6 hours. The next lacquer can be applied when the surface is dry to handle. Final hardness after 4 weeks depending on ventilation, temperature of the air, relative humidity of the air and thickness of the paint film. |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated must be dry The temperature of the air has to be at least +5 ˚C, and the relative humidity of the air below 70 % during application and drying of the surface. Do not work in strong sunlight or damp and cold weather. Plan the work so that the lacquer film will have enough time to dry before evening dew. | |
| Preparation | Untreated surface:
Remove dirt and dust from new wooden surfaces. Wipe hardwood surfaces with White Spirit before treatment. Always prime bare exterior wooden surfaces with Valtti Base priming oil prior to applying lacquer. Previously treated surface: Wash down the surface with Cleaning Agent (Maalipesu) and rinse carefully with water. Remove old/loose lacquer with scraper. Sand down surface and remove the sand dust. |

| Lacquering | Stir Unica Super well before use and frequently during use. Prime new surfaces with Unica Super gloss thinned with 20 % using White Spirit. Finish evenly 1-2 thin coats of unthinned lacquer. Apply evenly 1-2 thin coats of unthinned Unica Super on previously treated surfaces. Sand down lightly between each coat.

| Cleaning of tools | Clean the tools with White Spirit 1050 or with Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner). | |
| Maintenance instructions | Not earlier than 1 month after treatment: Clean the surface with neutral cleaning agent (pH 6-8) using smooth brush, sponge or cleaning cloth. Clean very dirty surfaces with lightly alkalic cleaning agent (pH 8-10) using e.g. cleaning cloth, mop or sponge. Rinse the surface carefully with water.
The surface achieves its final hardness and durability after few weeks (1 month) under normal conditions, therefore the surface should be handled with care during that time. If the surface has to be cleaned soon after treatment, use smooth brush, damp cleaning cloth or mop. |

| Maintenance treatment | Observe the condition of the exterior surface and recoat when necessary. Longer maintenance interval can be obtained with a tinted product compared to a colourless product. If the surface was previously treated with Unica Super lacquer, all similar lacquers can be used for maintenance painting. | |

| ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE DISPOSAL | Avoid spillage into drains, water systems and soil. Recycle empty, dry cans or dispose them of in accordance with local regulations. Destroy liquid waste according to the local regulations for hazardous waste. Risk of self-ignition! Cleaning cloths or sanding dust containing the product can create fire by self-ignition. Waste like this should be collected and stored in water before disposal, or dried preferably outdoors or incinerated immediately. | |
