| DESCRIPTION | Quick drying urethane alkyd lacquer containing UV-protective agent which slows down the yellowing effect caused by sunlight. | |

| Colour Range | Available in the colours of the Lacquer Colour card. Make a trial application on a small area to ensure that the colour is correct. If the colour is too dark, add colourless Unica Super or White Spirit 1050. | |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be varnished must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +5 ºC, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %. Do not apply during strong sunlight or during damp and cold weather. Time the work so that the lacquer film will have enough time to dry before evening dew. | |
| Preparation | Untreated surfaces:
Remove dirt and dust from untreated surfaces. Wipe hardwood surfaces with White Spirit 1050 before treatment. Always prime bare exterior wooden surfaces with Valtti Base priming oil prior to applying lacquer. Previously treated surfaces: Wash down the surface with Cleaning Agent (Maalipesu) and rinse carefully with water. Remove old/loose lacquer with scraper. Sand the whole surface and remove sanding dust. |

| Lacquering | Stir Unica Super well before use. Prime untreated surfaces with Unica Super thinned with max. 20 % White Spirit 1050. Apply 2-3 thin even layers. For finishing coat thin 0 - 20%, if necessary. Apply 1-2 coats of un-thinned Unica Super on previously lacquered surfaces. Sand the surface lightly between coats.
Note! Always prime exterior surfaces with full-gloss Unica Super. |

| Cleaning of tools | Clean tools with White Spirit 1050 or with Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner). | |
| Maintenance instructions | Avoid cleansing approx. 1 month after the painting work.
Clean surface with a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing agent and a soft brush, sponge or a dust rag. Soiled surfaces can be cleansed with a cleaning tool using a neutral (pH 6-8) detergent. Rinse surface carefully after maintenance. Handle the surface with care, ultimate durability and hardness is reached in approx. a moth under normal circumstances. If cleansing is needed, use a soft brush, a mop or a damp cleaning cloth. |

| Maintenance treatment | Not earlier than 1 month after treatment: Clean the surface with neutral cleaning agent
(pH 6-8) using smooth brush, sponge or cleaning cloth. Clean very dirty surfaces with lightly alkalic cleaning agent (pH 8-10) using e,g, cleaning cloth, mop or sponge. Rinse the surface carefully with water. The surface achieves its final hardness and durability after few weeks (1 month) under normal conditions, therefore the surface should be handled with care during that time. If the surface has to be cleaned soon after treatment, use smooth brush, damp cleaning cloth or mop. |

| ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE DISPOSAL | Empty cans should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste should be destroyed according to the local regulations. Risk of self-ignition! Cleaning cloths, sanding dust and overspray containing the product can create fire by self-ignition. Waste like this should be collected and stored e.g. in water before disposal or be dried preferably outdoors. | |
