Feelings Interior Paint

DESCRIPTION Waterborne acrylate paint
PRODUCT FEATURES Plaster, concrete, brick, building blocks and boards, MDF, wallpaper, etc. Feelings Interior Paint can be used for repainting interior surfaces previously coated with waterborne or alkyd paints. Feelings Interior Paint is also the recommended base coat for Feelings Effect Paint.
RECOMMENDED USES For use on interior walls and ceilings. Offers good wash-resistance.

Application method Brush, roller or spray application. For airless spray use a 0.017” – 0.021” spray tip.
Thinning: if necessary thin by up to 10% with water.

Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity Normally touch-dry in ½ hour and recoatable after 1-2 hours.

APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions All surfaces to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +5OC and the relative humidity of the air below 80%.
Preparation Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, dirt, oil, wax, rust, all loose material and surface contamination. Use recommended Tikkurila products as cleaning agents and for mould removal. Use recommended Tikkurila fillers for filling cracks, nail holes, blemishes, etc., and leveling of uneven surfaces. Ensure that existing glossy, gloss painted and filled surfaces are thoroughly flatted down. Ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly prepared. Spot prime all bare areas on previously painted surfaces with Feelings Interior Paint.
Painting Stir the paint thoroughly and apply two coats of Feelings Interior Paint overall.
Cleaning of tools Clean with water immediately after use. Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner) is recommended to be used for cleaning hardened paint from tools.
Maintenance instructions Earliest 1 month after treatment:
The surfaces can be cleaned with a dry brush, mop or cloth. Dirty surfaces can be cleaned with a neutral (pH 6-8) detergent using a damp cleaning equipment.
The surface must no be left wet after cleaning. Follow the instructions of the manufacturer for the detergent solution.

The product will achieve its final hardness and durability under normal conditions after 1 month, therefore the surfaces must be handled with care during this time. If the surfaces must be cleaned soon after treatment, use a dry or damp cloth or mop.
Maintenance treatment Surfaces treated with Feelings Interior Paint can be maintained with Feelings Interior Paint or a similar water-borne paint.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE DISPOSAL Empty cans should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste should be destroyed according to the local regulations.
