APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions The recommended fixing temperature of the air is +18 °C + - 20 °C.
Preparation The surface has to be dry, clean, even and solid.
Wash down previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse carefully with water. Fill holes and cracks with a suitable Spakkeli or Presto filler and sand the dried surface. Remove sanding dust. Prime very porous surfaces with water thinned Ässätex adhensive or with Jehu Primer.
Wallpapering Stir adhesive well before use. When fixing glass fibre cloth, apply the adhesive with a roller on about 1-2 pelts wide at a time. If desired, a latex paint used for finishing can be mixed with adhesive e.g. 1 volume part paint to 1 volume part adhesive. In this way, the shade achieved is close to shade of the finishing paint, and the glass fibre cloth can be primed with the mixture.

Set the pelt in its place and press it hard onto the substrate. After the adhesive or the mixture made of adhesive and finishing paint has dried about 24 hours, prime the cloth with the mixture of adhesive and finishing paint, or with finishing paint thinned with 10 % of water. Finish after priming coat has dried.

When fixing textile coverings and paper based wall coverings, apply the adhesive with a roller onto the bottom of the covering, and let it wet about 5-10 minutes, after which time the covering can be fixed.

Follow the instructions given by the manufacturer of the wallcovering.
Removal of glue stains Clean fresh adhesive with a damp rag or sponge.
Cleaning of tools Clean excess paint from the tools and clean immediately with water.
