ClimateCooler Hypercoat Primer
|DESCRIPTION||A solvent-borne one-component polyurethane primer.|
Bitumen, fiber-cement sheets and concrete tiles.
Used as a primer to improve adhesion before applying ClimateCooler Hypercoat.
|RECOMMENDED USES||Especially for flat roofs with ponding water, or extremely worn bitumen roofs.|
|Coverage||100 -200 g/m2 depending on the porosity of substrate.
|Can sizes||5 kg.|
|Application method||Brush, roller or spray.|
|Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity||
Touch dry 4 -6 hours.
|Solids volume||approx. 44 %.|
|Density||approx 0.9 - 1 kg/l, ISO 2811.|
|Application conditions||The surface to be painted must be clean, solid and dry, air temperature +8 – 35C and relative humidity of the air should not exceed 85 %.
|Preparation||Clean the surfaces using a high-pressure washer, if possible. Remove oil, grease and wax contaminations. Cement laitance, loose particles, mould release agents and cured membrane must be removed. Apply ClimateCooler Cleaner solution according to instructions if needed.
Applicable national health and safety precautions must be followed in the treatment of substrates containing asbestos.
|Priming||Apply with brush or roller. Once cured, the ClimateCooler Hypercoat topcoat can be applied.|
|Diluting||Do not dilute. Ready to use.|
|Finishing||Apply with brush or roller. Once cured, the ClimateCooler Hypercoat topcoat can be applied.
Note! Use ClimateCooler Thinner when using airless spraying.
Check the condition of the roof before starting the work.

Keep away from sparks and open flames. - No smoking. IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a POISON CENTER or physician. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. |ENVIRONMENTAL and WASTE DISPOSAL||A Material Safety Data Sheet is available at request. Avoid spillage into drains, water systems and soil. Recycle empty, dry cans or dispose them of in accordance with local regulations. Destroy liquid waste according to the local regulations for hazardous waste.|
