| DESCRIPTION | Alkyd filler | |
| PRODUCT FEATURES | for interior and dry exterior surfaces, smoothing and filling of wooden, wood fibre board, chipboard and metal surfaces. Suitable for repairing of scratches and filling and puttying of small areas and to be used with waterborne, alkyd, oil and catalyzed paints. The surface is easy to sand, dry or wet, or to scrape. | |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated must be dry, the temperature of the air at least 5˚C and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.

| Preparation | Unpainted surfaces:
Remove dirt, dust and loose material from unpainted surfaces. Better adhesion will be achieved by priming the porous surfaces with Jehu primer, thinned with 10 % White Spirit. Previously painted surfaces: Wash down previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu Cleaning Agent and rinse thoroughly with water. Remove loose paint with a scraper and sand down the surface. Remove sanding dust. |

| Filling | Apply Lacquer Putty with a spatula direct on wooden, chipboard, wood fibre board of metal surfaces or on dry primer. It is usually enough to repair only the scratches and to fill small areas on wooden, wood fibre board, chipboard and metal surfaces. Lacquer Putty does not normally need to be thinned for spatula application, but for spray application it can be thinned with White Spirit 1050. Finish the surfaces with ordinary alkyd or waterborne paints, also solventborne priming, undercoating or finishing paints can be used for finishing. | |
| Cleaning of tools | Clean the tools with White Spirit 1050. | |

| ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE DISPOSAL | Empty cans should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Liquid waste should be destroyed according to the local regulations for hazardous waste. | |
