| DESCRIPTION | Waterborne additive meant to be added Tikkurila water-dilutable paints before decorative painting. Lasera makes the paint glazing and gives more working time. May weaken water-resistance of the base paint. | |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +5 °C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %. | |
| Preparation | Clean dirt and dust from surfaces to be treated. Wash down previously painted surfaces with Cleaning Agent (Maalipesu) and rinse carefully with water. Prime steel surfaces with Rostex Metal Primer. Fill surfaces with a suitable Presto filler, if necessary. Paint directly with a water-borne tinted Tikkurila paint e.g. Eko-Joker, Harmony or Luja. | |
| Painting | Stir Lasera before use and add it to tinted paint in a ratio of 1:1 and stir well. Apply glazing paint by roller and make patterns right after with sponge, roller or cloth. Make patterns only for area about 1 square metre at a time and for larger areas about half a metre wide working bands. Additional instructions available from Tikkurila's decorative painting guide.
Clean tools from time to time with water and squeeze dry. Then apply first a test coat e.g. on cardboard. |

| Cleaning of tools | Clean tools with water. The use of Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner) is recommended for cleaning hardened paint. | |
| Maintenance instructions | Lasera reaches its final durability in approx. 1 month. Avoid cleansing during that time.
Clean soiled surfaces with a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing agent using a soft cleaning towel. Rinse and dry immediately after treatment. Follow manufacturer’s instruction when diluting dishwashing agent. After treatment, treat surface with care for a few weeks. Surface reaches its final hardness and durability in approx. 1 month under normal circumstances. If needed, clean surface with a soft brush, a damp rag or mop. |
