| DESCRIPTION | Alkyd paint with good hiding and covering properties for interior painting of wood, metal, chipboard and wood fibre board surfaces. | |
| PRODUCT FEATURES | Suitable for both maintenance painting and painting of untreated surfaces. Also suitable for repainting of surfaces previously painted with alkyd and acid-curing paints. To be used unthinned. |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Application conditions | The surface to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +5 °C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80%. NB Under the circumstances mentioned above, drying is notably slower than under standard circumstances (+23°C, relative humidity 50%).

| Preparation | Unpainted surfaces:
Remove all dirt, grease and dust. Prime wood surfaces with Jehu or Otex primer and metal surfaces with Otex Primer. Previously painted surfaces: Wash down previously painted surfaces with Cleaning Agent (Maalipesu) and rinse carefully with water. Remove loose, flaking paint with a scraper and sand the whole surface. Remove sanding dust. Cement holes and cracks with Spakkeli Alkyd filler. Sand the filled spots and remove sanding dust. If needed, prime with Jehu or Otex primer. Metal surfaces and industrially with acid-curing paint or lacquer finished surfaces should be primed with Otex Primer. |

| Diluting | Does not need to be diluted. | |
| Painting | Stir Maalarin Valkolakka when necessary. Apply two coats by brush or roller. One coat is enough on primed or previously with same colour painted surfaces.

| Cleaning of tools | Clean tools with White Spirit 1050 or with Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner) | |
| Maintenance instructions | Avoid cleansing approx. 1 month after the painting work.
Clean surface with a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing agent and a soft brush, sponge or a dust rag. Soiled surfaces can be cleansed with a cleaning tool using a neutral (pH 6-8) detergent. Rinse surface carefully after maintenance. Handle the surface with care, ultimate durability and hardness is reached in approx. a moth under normal circumstances. If cleansing is needed, use a soft brush, a mop or a damp cleaning cloth. |
