| DESCRIPTION | Alkaline cleaning and pre-treating detergent for interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting. | |
| PRODUCT FEATURES | Walls, floors, furniture, doors, building boards, boats, etc. Cleans unpainted surfaces by removing dirt, grease, oil, wax etc. Suitable for pre-treatment of hard and glossy paint surfaces prior to painting. Undiluted Maalipesu cleans the surface and generates a matt finish that improves adhesion of the new paint coat.
Latex and other matt paint surfaces can be pre-treated with diluted Maalipesu (1 part Maalipesu, 10 parts water or 1 part Maalipesu, 5 parts water). Maalipesu is especially suitable for cleaning very dirty surfaces, where strong dissolving power is needed without the adverse effects of solvents. Not recommended for use with sheet metal roofs. |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Preparation | Protect glass and other surfaces which may be damaged by corrosion due to alkalinity. | |
| Treatment | Apply Maalipesu undiluted on hard and glossy surfaces by brush, sponge or cloth. Allow Maalipesu to take effect for a few minutes. Wash down the surface with a brush and rinse carefully with water. Undiluted Maalipesu cleans the surface and generates a matt finish that improves adhesion of the new paint coat. Latex paint surfaces and other matt surfaces can be pre-treated with Maalipesu diluted with water to the mixing ratio 1:10. Diluted Maalipesu (ratio 1:10) can also be used as a cleaning detergent. Very dirty surfaces can be treated with a stronger solution 1:5. Rinse carefully with clean water.
Apply Maalipesu cleaning agent first on a small test area of the intended surface (diluted or undiluted depending on the use). Some paint surfaces may be damaged when using a Maalipesu mixture that is too strong. |

Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/ face protection. Do not breathe vapour/ spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. | ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND WASTE DISPOSAL | Avoid spillage into drains, water systems and soil. Recycle empty, dry cans or dispose them of in accordance with local regulations. Destroy liquid waste according to the local regulations for hazardous waste. | |
