APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions The surface to be painted must be clean, solid and dry, air temperature +8–35C and relative humidity of the air should not exceed 85 %.

Preparation Clean the surfaces using a high-pressure washer, if possible. Remove oil, grease and wax contaminations. Cement laitance, loose particles and cured membrane must be removed.

Applicable national health and safety precautions must be followed in the treatment of substrates containing asbestos.
Priming Use always ClimateCooler Hypercoat Primer.
Finishing Mix the paint carefully before use.

Use a low speed (300 rpm) mixer. Apply the paint with a brush or spiked roller. For spray application, add 5 – 10 % ClimateCooler Hypercoat Thinner. Maximum interval between application of coats should not exceed 48 hours.

Apply two coats of ClimateCooler Hypercoat. Use 900 g/m2 for the first coat. Use a glass fiber mesh in order to make the membrane stronger and more resistant to cracks in the substrate. The glass fiber is incorporated in the wet layer with a spiked roller. The second layer, 700 g/m2 should be applied within 48 hours.

NOTE! Check the condition of the roof before starting the work.
Cleaning of tools Rollers will not be reusable. Clean spray guns with ClimateCooler Hypercoat Thinner.
Maintenance instructions Surfaces painted with ClimateCooler Hypercoat should be maintenance painted with the same product.
Handle the painted surface with care. The surface achieves its final hardness and durability within approx. 4 days.
