APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions The surface to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least 5 °C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.
Preparation Unpainted surfaces:
Remove dirt and dust from plaster, filler-treated, chipboard, wood fibre board
surfaces

Previously painted surfaces:
Was surfaces with Maalipesu (Cleaning agent), rinse well. Allow to dry.
Painting Tixomatt does not need to be stirred or thinned. If needed, Tixomatt can be diluted with White Spirit 1050 10% e.g. for priming. Allow Tixomatt to thicken for approximately 1 hour before use to restore gelatinous texture. Apply with a brush, roller or spray 1-2 times.
The surface can be primed with 10 % thinned Tixomatt or Jehu primer, if necessary.
Cleaning of tools Clean tools with White Spirit 1050 or with Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner).
Maintenance instructions Earliest after one month after painting: Clean dirty surfaces with a neutral dishwashing agent (pH 6-8) using for example a sponge or damp cloth. For very dirty surfaces use weak alkaline detergent solution (pH 8-10) using a mop, sponge or damp cloth. Do not leave the surface wet after cleaning. For diluting the detergent solution follow the instructions of the producer.

The surface achieves its final hardness after one month under normal conditions, therefore the surface should be handled carefully during that time. Use dry or damp cleaning cloth or mop to clean the surface, if it is necessary.
