Use the detergent in accordance with the instructions on the label
Protect yourself and surfaces you do not intend to wash (including windows, plants etc.) against splashes.
If the surface has badly ingrained dirt, use a brush or similar non-scratching tools.
The detergent must not be left to dry on, so avoid using it in direct sunlight.
After washing, rinse the detergent off the surfaces thoroughly.
Leave surface to dry before applying a surface treatment.
Test the solution on an out-of-way patch to determine the time it needs to take effect and to ensure you have the right strength of solution.
The amount of detergent used will depend on the cleaning requirement.
