| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||
| Treatment | Use a brush or roller to apply the solution generously to the surface you wish to clean and leave for 15-30 minutes to take effect. Leave for about 10 minutes with hardwood surfaces and furniture. For a consistent result, apply more of the Tehopesu solution as required to keep the surface being cleaned moist. In warm, sunny weather you can first moisten the surface with water to prevent the solution from drying too quickly. Apply several times if the surface is very dirty/darkened. Avoid splashing on clothes, face and plants.
Use a brush or pressure washer to wash the surface and rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use pressure washers at excessive pressure since this can easily cause splintering in old, discoloured wood. Use a washer that does not scratch (”e.g. scrubbing brush, coarse scouring pad, a fine stainless steel braiding or similar). Once the surface has dried, use the above tools to remove the wood fibre rising to the surface after treatment. |

| Protection | Wear suitable protective clothing, protective gloves, safety goggles or a face mask. Protect plants against splashes. Avoid splashing clothes and, for example, unstained garden furniture and fittings. The product has a slight bleaching effect. | |
| Post-treatment | We recommend painting painted surfaces after treatment with Tehopesu. | |
| Mixing of components | Stir a can (0.5 l) of Tehopesu into 5 litres of cool water in an open plastic container. Leave for about 15 minutes. Stir again before application. The solution should be used within 2-4 hours from when the last granule has dissolved. The solution is alkaline (pH >10). | |
