Pinjalac HB TCX lacquer systems for exterior windows and doors

Modern exterior lacquer systems are nowadays mostly water- borne. Systems are based on an impregnation agent, medium and top lacquer combinations, and each product has a specific role in the overall system.

Exterior durability properties are the main desired criteria when developing these products. The reduction of water absorption and protection against the sun’s UV radiation are very important properties as well as elasticity, good colour and gloss stability.

First impregnation treatment with Pinja Wood Stain TCW

Pinja Wood Stain TCW is a water-borne, fast-drying translucent wood stain, which penetrates deeply into the wood and protects it against moisture, sunlight and dirt. It also decreases the risk of the wood cracking. Pinja Wood Stain TCW is tintable in the Akvi Tone tinting system.

Pinjalac Solid Dipp as a medium lacquer

Pinjalac Solid Dipp is a fast-drying flexible acrylic lacquer for dipping and flow coating applications. It contains an efficient UV-absorber which protects wood from yellowing. The viscosity of the Pinjalac Solid Dipp is low. The lacquer is ready to use in flow coating and dipping applications. Pinjalac Solid Dipp  penetrates well into the wood pores of e.g. oak and meranti.

Pinjalac HB TCX  a fast-drying top coat

Pinjalac HB TCX is a flexible acrylic lacquer. The lacquer is very thixotropic and with airless spraying equipment it is possible to achieve even 400 µm wet film thickness without sagging. The lacquer is elastic but still fast drying, and it has good non-blocking properties. Pinjalac HB TCX is tintable in the Akvi Tone tinting system.
