Akviwax Satin is an agent developed especially for interior humid premises. It has M1 Building material emission classification for indoor use, and emits extremely low levels of compounds into the atmosphere.

Akviwax Satin contains natural wax. It is absorbed into the wood and forms a humid and dirt resistant surface.

DESCRIPTION Protective agent containing natural wax for interior wooden surfaces in humid premises.
PRODUCT FEATURES Akviwax Satin is absorbed into the wood and it forms a humid and dirt resistant surface.
Recommended uses Especially suitable for sauna benches, paneled walls and ceilings, doors and window frames varnishing of humid premises, e.g. sauna.

Colour Range Clear, black. Special shades for request.
Colour Cards Akvi Color AT stain color card and Colours for Wood color card shades with AKVI TONE tinting.
Interior wood stain and lacquers color card shades TVT3441–3451 with AVATINT tinting according to the formula of Supi Sauna Wax.

Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation.

Application conditions The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During application and drying the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the wax has to be over +10ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 70%.
Preparation Remove dirt and dust. Moisten lightly with water spray, let dry and sand loose wood fiber off. Remove sanding dust.
Treatment Stir the wax carefully before use. Thin with water if necessary. Apply 1–2 times.
Cleaning of tools Water. Tikkurila Tool Cleaner is recommended for removal of hardened wax.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 130g/l of wax.
