Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation.

Special feature Application (+23 °C)
Conventional application. Nozzle tip 1.0 - 1.4 mm is recommended to be used with pressure 1 - 3 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.
Solids volume 2 - 20 % by volume, 3 - 25 % by weight, depending on the colour.
Density 0.99 - 1.1 kg/litre depending on the colour.

Application conditions The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During application and drying the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the stain has to be over 18 ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 70 %.
Preparation Wood surfaces should be sanded with sandpaper P150 - 240. All sanding dust must be removed with f.ex.vacuum. Note! The roughness of the sandpaper also effects of shade.
Surface treatment Recommended top lacquers: Merit, Merit Topas, Luminol Clear, Akvidur ja Akvilac. Note! Different kind of topcoats might be changed the colour shades.
Mixing of components Stir the stain carefully before use. The stain is ready for use. Different application methods may result in shade variations. The shade and hue of the stain should be verified before applying large surfaces. Akvi Color AT-S can be thinned with water, if needed.
Cleaning of tools Water.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 100 g/l of stain.
