DESCRIPTION A water-borne tintable semi-transparent wood oil.
PRODUCT FEATURES

Suitable for exterior wooden surfaces such as decking, terraces and garden furniture.

Features • Protects the wood surface against moisture, sunlight and dirt.
• Delay water penetration into wood and therefore decreases moisture cracking of wood surface.

Spreading rate depends on the application method, painting conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be coated.

Tinted Pinja Color Oil dries slower than the clear one.

APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. The moisture content of the wood should be below 19%. During application and drying the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the oil has to be over +5ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 80%.
Preparation Untreated surfaces
Clean the surface from dirt, dust, and loose material.
Application For airless spraying, recommended nozzle tip is 0.009"–0.011" and pressure 80–160 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.

For air-assisted airless spraying, recommended nozzle tip is 0.009"–0.011" and pressure 40–120 bar. Atomising air pressure should be about 1–3 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.

Mixing of components Stir Pinja Color Oil carefully before use. The product is ready for use.
For decking and terraces only one application is recommended.
Cleaning of tools Water.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 6 g/litre of oil.
