Application conditions All surfaces must be dry. The temperature of the ambient air, surface or paint should not fall below +15 ºC during application or drying. Relative humidity should be between 20 - 70 %. The surface temperature of the steel should remain at least 3 ºC above the dew point.
Preparation Oil, grease, salts and dirt are removed by appropriate means. (ISO 12944-4)

Steel surfaces: Blast clean to grade Sa2½. (ISO 8501-1) If blast cleaning is not possible, phosphating is recommended for cold rolled steel to improve adhesion.
Priming Fontecryl AP.
Finishing Duasolid 50, Temadur SC and Fontelac QD 80.
Painting By spray or dip. Depending on the application method the paint can be thinned 0 - 15 %. At dip application the viscosity should be 20 - 25 s DIN 4.

Note! The viscosity falls quickly when thinning the paint.
Cleaning of tools FONTECLEAN 1921.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 120 g/litre of paint.
VOC content in paint (thinned 15 % by volume) is 100 g/l.
