| Features | Excellent resistance to abrasion. Excellent resistance to all ordinary cleaning detergents, SFS 3755. Good resistance to solvents: gasoline, turpentine, white spirit and methylated spirits. Does not resist e.g. thinner. Resists lubricating oils and greases, animal and vegetable fats. | |||||||||||

Brush or spray. In airless spray nozzle 0.009" - 0.013" (0.230 - 0.330 mm) and thinning 0 - 10 vol-%. |

Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation. |

| APPLICATION DETAILS | ||||||||||||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated has to be dry i.e. the moisture content of the timber has to be below 20 %. During application and drying the temperature of the air has to be at least + 5 ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %. Do not apply the lacquer under direct sunlight or during moist and cold weather. Time varnishing so that the lacquer film has enough time to dry before the evening dew. | |||||||||||
| Preparation | New untreated surfaces: Remove dirt and dust. Prime outdoor surfaces with Valtti Base Priming Oil. Wash finewood surfaces with Thinner 1054.
Previously treated surfaces: Wash the surface with MAALIPESU detergent and rinse thoroughly with water. Remove old loose lacquer with scraper. Sand the whole surface and remove sanding dust. |

| Lacquering | Stir the lacquer carefully before use. For priming new untreated surfaces thin the lacquer about 20 - 40 % with Thinner 1054. Brush evenly a thin layer 2 - 3 times. Thin top laqcuer 0 - 20 % if necessary. Varnish previously treated surfaces directly with unthinned lacquer 1 - 2 times. Sand the surface lightly after each coat.
Note! Priming of exterior objects must always be done with high gloss MERIT JAHTI. |
