Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation.

APPLICATION DETAILS
Application conditions The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During application and drying the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the lacquer has to be over 18 ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 70 %.
Lacquering Stir the lacquer carefully before use. Avoid flotation. The lacquer is recommended to use without thinning. If necessary thin the lacquer with water or Akvi Thinner.
Surface treatment Application (+23 °C)

Airless spraying application. Nozzle tip 0.011" to 0.015" is recommended to be used with pressure of 100 - 160 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.

Air assisted airless application. Nozzle tip 0.011" - 0.015" is recommended to be used with pressure 40 - 140 bar. Air pressure of conventional spraying is recommended 1 - 3 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.

Conventional application. Nozzle tip 1.4 - 1.8 mm is recommended to be used with pressure 2 - 3 bar.
Mixing of components Product is one-component, no hardener needed. Stir the lacquer carefully before use. Avoid flotation. If necessary thin the lacquer with water or Akvi Thinner.
Cleaning of tools Water.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 80 g/l.
Maximum VOC content in ready to use lacquer (thinned with water 5 % by volume)is 77 g/l.
Maximum VOC content in ready to use lacquer (thinned with Akvi Thinner 5 % by volume) is 96 g/l.
