| DESCRIPTION | Water-borne acrylate lacquer. | ||||||||||
| PRODUCT FEATURES | A fast drying and flexible lacquer. Can be used as a seale r and top lacquer. Enhances shades of coloured wood preservatives. Contains very effective UV-absorber to protect wood from yellowing and anti-mould agents. Suitable for window frames, front doors and other wooden surfaces outdoors.

| APPLICATION DETAILS | |||||||||||
| Application conditions | The surface to be treated has to be clean and dry. During application and drying the temperature of the air, the surface to be treated and the lacquer has to be over 18 ºC and the relative humidity of the air below 70 %. | ||||||||||
| Lacquering | Low pressure and airless spraying:
The lacquer is recommended to spray without thinning or max. 10 % with water. Nozzle tip size 0.011 to 0.015” is recommended. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object. |

| Surface treatment | Wood surfaces should be sanded with sandpaper P150 - 240. Sealer surfaces should be sanded with sandpaper P240 - 400. All sanding dust must be removed with f.ex.vacuum. | ||||||||||
| Mixing of components | Product is one-component, no hardener needed. Stir the lacquer carefully before use. Avoid flotation. In order to maintain good quality the lacquer is recommended to spray without thinning. If necessary, thin with water max. 10 % or with Akvi Thinner. | ||||||||||
| Cleaning of tools | Water or Akvi Thinner. | ||||||||||
| EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value | The Volatile Organic Compounds amount is 120 g/litre of paint.
Maximum VOC content in ready to use lacquer (thinned 5 % by volume) is 140 g/l. |
