How should I protect stable walls, ceilings and fencing? Horses both lick and chew the dividing walls between stalls, so the products should also be safe for use with animals.
If the stable walls and ceiling are made of concrete or other similar material, paint them with Betolux or Akvacoat 100. If licking and chewing is less of a problem, Feelings Extra Durable can also be used. Betolux and Luja finishes are suitable for wooden surfaces and Valtti Color for the ceiling.
Wooden fences can be painted with Miranol or Feelings Extra Durable. If animals can lick or gnaw at the surface, do not use any wood preservatives.
If the painted surface should withstand intense chemical action, moisture and mechanical wear and tear, we advise you to use epoxy paint, such as Temacoat GPL or Temacoat GPL-S. Typical base surfaces are the various metal surfaces in stables, barns and similar facilities.
Metal railings can also be primed with Rostex and finished with Miranol.
