Luja Moisture Stop
|DESCRIPTION||Water-borne moisture stop which gives a very impervious surface.|
For interior use. Suitable for surfaces treated with Tikkurila Presto LV Humid Room Filler, and on various building boards, glass fibre wallpapers etc.
|RECOMMENDED USES||Interior walls and ceilings.|
|Colour Range||Translucent green|
|Coverage||Approx. 4 - 6 m2/l, two coat applied, unthinned.|
|Can sizes||3 l, 10 l.|
|Application method||Brush, roller or spray.|
|Curing||Touch dry in approx. 4 hours. Re-coatable with Luja finishing paint after approx. 4 hours.|
|Solids volume||Approx. 39 %.|
|Density||1.2 kg/l, ISO 2811|
|Storage||Protect from frost.|
|Application conditions||The surface to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +10 °C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.|
|Preparation||Remove all dirt and dust. If surface to be treated has mould damages, find out the reason for them and repair them carefully before painting. Remove loose, flaking paint with a scraper. Remove vinyl wall coverings and ceramic tiles in full. Sand glossy paint surfaces to a matt finish. Wash the surface with Maalipesu (Cleaning Agent), if necessary and rinse carefully with water. Fill concrete, plaster etc. surfaces with Presto LV Humid Room Filler. Sand the surface and remove sanding dust|
|Installation||Stir Luja moisture stop well before use. Apply two coats of moisture stop with a roller and finish off corners and inlets by brush. Allow to dry for 1-4 hours between treatments.
Finish with Luja Finishing Paint after approx. 4 hours from the second treatment with moisture stop.
|Cleaning of tools||Wash tools with water. Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner) is recommended for removing slightly hardened paint.|
