DESCRIPTION Water-borne opaque acrylate paint.
PRODUCT FEATURES Water-borne opaque acrylate paint for new and old panel ceilings in dry interiors. Also suitable for repainting of previously painted and lacquered panel ceilings.

Application conditions The surface to be treated must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +8ºC, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 % . Low temperature (about +15ºC) and high humidity (50-70 %) extend the open-time of the paint and facilitate the painting work.
Preparation Remove all dirt and dust from new surfaces to ensure the best possible adhesion. Treat knotty and darkened panels with Multistop Sealing Primer 1-2 times.

Wash down previously painted or lacquered surfaces with Tikkurila MAALIPESU Cleaning Agent according to the instructions on the label. Allow to dry. Remove loose paint or lacquer with a scraper and sand the whole surface. Remove sanding dust. Fill holes and cracks with Presto Rapid Filler and sand filled places. Remove sanding dust.
Painting Stir the paint carefully before use. Use the paint without thinning. Apply two coats with a synthetic-fibre brush, use paint liberally. Paint new panels first separately before installation, apply thin coats on joints.
Cleaning of tools Remove excess paint from tools and wash them with water. Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner) is recommended to be used for cleaning hardened paint from tools.
Maintenance instructions Handle the surface with care, ultimate durability and hardness is reached in approx. one month under normal circumstances. Avoid cleansing approx. 1 month after the painting work. If needed, clean the surface with a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing agent and a soft brush, sponge or a cleaning cloth.
Very dirty surfaces can be cleansed with a cleaning tool, washing mop or sponge using a weakly alkaline (pH 8-10) detergent. Rinse surface carefully after maintenance.
