|Finishing||Mix Taika Stardust well before use. Apply the product with a roller or brush in criss-cross strokes. Make sure that the product is applied evenly on the whole area. Overlaps should be faded out as the work progresses. The milkiness will disappear as the surface dries out. A trial application on thick cardboard or another test surface is recommended. Taika Stardust can also be used with stencils applied with a normal small roller or brush. We do not recommend to use tools made of foam.|
|Cleaning of tools||Remove excess glaze from the tools. Wash the tools with soap and water. For cleaning slightly hardened glaze, we recommend Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner).|
|Maintenance instructions||The product achieves its final hardness and durability after approx.
1 month under normal conditions, therefore the surfaces must be handled with care during this time. If the surfaces need to be cleaned soon after finishing, clean them lightly with a dry or damp cleaning cloth or mop.
At the earliest after approx. 1 month from finishing. The surfaces can be cleaned with dry brush, mop or dust towel. Dirty surfaces are cleaned with a damp cleaning cloth moistened with a neutral detergent (pH 6 - 8). The surface may not remain wet after cleaning. Follow the dilution instructions of the detergent manufacturer when preparing the detergent solution.
After painting the surfaces must be handled carefully for a few weeks time, because the paint will achieve its final hardness and durability in normal conditions after 1 month. If the surface must be cleaned soon after painting, clean the surface lightly with soft brush, cloth or mop.
See instructions from "Previously painted surface". You can also cover the effect surface by painting it with a waterborne wall paint.
