Waterborne, recoatable quick-drying special glazing putty for interior and exterior windows and doors.
Window glazing and filling of small cracks and crevices on wooden substrates. Also suitable for glass, paint, PVC and zinc-coated steel surfaces.
Also suitable for sealing joints in interior walls and ceilings and filling of small cracks. Can be recoated with Tikkurila interior wall and ceiling paints.
Interior and exterior window frames. Recoatable with e.g. Unica Akva, Teho Window Paint, Helmi Furniture Paint or Maalarin Valkolakka.

Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity
The putty is surface dry after 1-2 hours. Recoatable at the earliest after
8 hours from application. The final curing takes 2-10 days depending on conditions and film thickness.

Protect from frost
The surface to be treated must be dry, the temperature at least +5 C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.
Remove loose and flaking putty and paint with a scraper from the groove and wood surface. Sand and wire brush the surface clean.
Prime exterior bare wood surfaces of grooves with Valtti Base or Valtti Akvabase. Apply a priming coat of Unica Akva or Teho Window Paint on exterior surfaces and Unica Akva, Helmi Primer, Jehu or Otex on interior surfaces. Cut the tube tip diagonally with a knife big enough to make sure that the putty fills the whole groove with one application. Place the tube in the sealing gun and apply directly from the tube to the groove.
Apply a finishing coat of Unica Akva or Teho Window Paint on exterior surfaces and Unica Akva, Helmi Furniture Paint or Maalarin Valkolakka 2 times on interior surfaces at the earliest 8 hours from the application of putty. The paint must overlap 1-2 mm onto the window glass.
