PRODUCT DATA SHEET
Akvi Primer J - Acrylate primer
|DESCRIPTION||Water-borne acrylate primer.|
Suitable for furniture, doors, mouldings and other wooden surface in interior premises.
|Features||A fast drying primer with good sanding properties.
Can be overcoated both with water- and solvent-borne products.
Practical coverage depends on the application method, painting conditions and the shape and roughness of the surface to be coated.
Airless spraying, air-assisted airless spraying and conventional spraying.
For airless spraying the product is thinned approximately 0–5% to the viscosity 50–80s (DIN4). Recommended nozzle tip is 0.011"–0.015" and pressure 100–160 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.
For air-assisted airless spraying, the product is thinned approximately 0–5% to the viscosity 50–80s (DIN4). Recommended nozzle tip is 0.011"–0.015" and pressure 40–120 bar. Atomising air pressure should be about 1–3 bar. Spray angle shall be chosen according to the shape of the object.
For conventional spraying the product is thinned approximately 0–5% to the viscosity 50–80s (DIN4). Recommended nozzle tip is 1.4–1.8 mm and pressure 2-3 bar.
Drying and recoating times are related to the film thickness, temperature, the relative humidity of the air and ventilation.
