Mandatory CE marking for construction products

CE marking is mandatory for all construction products for which there is an adopted harmonised product standard after the entry date set by the European Commission. The CE marking consists of the product’s CE marking and the Declaration of Performance (DoP) related to it.

CE marking concerns the following product ranges marketed and sold by Tikkurila Oyj: internal plasters, jointing materials for gypsum plasterboards, decorative fiberglass wall coverings, external renders, products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures, rendering and plastering mortar, and screed material and floor screeds.

As far as Tikkurila products are concerned, CE markings will be found on our website and Declarations of Performance issued and made available either as printed or digital versions.

CE marking enables the free movement of products within the European market. By affixing the CE marking to a product, a manufacturer declares that the product meets all the EU's legal requirements relating to health, safety, the environment and consumer protection.
