Full-matt, quick drying special resin based adhesion primer.
Adheres well to surfaces that require special adhesion such as glass, tiles, glass fibre, PVC-plastic, aluminium, zinc coated sheet metal and surfaces coated with alkyd and catalytic paint
Interior surfaces that require excellent adhesion and exterior window frames painted with polyurethane or catalytic paints.
Tintable according to the Tikkurila Symphony 2436 colour card. Colour accuracy is not perfect.
AP base paint can be used both as white and tinted (half of A-base paint's colourant amount). C-base only as tinted.

Spray Thinner 1032 and White Spirit 1050
Methods: Brush, roller or spray. For airless spray application use a nozzle 0.011" - 0.015" i.e. 0.280 - 0.380 mm.
Thinning: 0 - 10 vol-%
Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity
Dust dry after 1 hour, sandable and recoatable on the following day.
1.4 kg/l white, ISO 2811
The surface to be painted must be dry, the temperature of the air at least +5ºC, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.
Wash surfaces requiring special adhesion with Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse carefully with water. Sand matt. Remove sanding dust.
Previously painted surfaces:
Wash down previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent and rinse carefully with water. Sand the surface matt. Remove sanding dust.
Stir Otex well before use and thin, if necessary, for brush application with White Spirit 1050, and for spray application with Spray thinner 1032. Apply Otex by brush, roller or spray.
Otex adhesion primer levels well, so sanding is often unnecessary. When a very smooth surface is preferred sand with a fine dry sanding paper.
Cleaning of tools
Clean tools with White Spirit 1050 or Tikkurila Pensselipesu (Tool Cleaner).
Handle the surface with care, ultimate durability and hardness is reached in approx. a month under normal circumstances. If cleansing is needed, use a soft brush or a damp cleaning cloth.
Clean the surface at the earliest after 1 month from painting, if necessary.
Use a neutral (pH 6-8) dishwashing agent and a soft brush, sponge or a dust rag.
Soiled surfaces can be cleansed with a cleaning cloth or sponge using a neutral (pH 8-10) detergent. Rinse surface carefully after maintenance.
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value
EU VOC 2004/42/EC-limit value: (cat A/i) 500g/l (2010). Otex contains VOC max. 500g/l.
