ProSeal - Water-borne primer
ProSeal is a water-borne primer with good penetrating properties. To be used for absorbing surfaces before applying BioRid, BioRid Spray or
ProSeal is suitable for priming of interior walls and ceilings, on absorbing substrates.
ProSeal can also be used for binding loose or badly bonded asbestos material and binding asbestos dust, or after encapsulation or cleaning up, to bind possible loose fibers where it is difficult to vacuum clean 100% free from fibers.
Read the application instructions carefully.
Depending on the surfaces, but coverage should be about 2-10 m²/l.
Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity
Dry to touch after 1-2 hours, depending on film thickness. Leave to dry 2-3 hours before applying BioRid, BioRid Spray or AsbestGuard

Shelf-life: 2 years. Protect from frost. Store in a dry and cool place,
protected from sunlight. Close the can carefully for future use. Open can
does not withstand long term storage.
The surface to be coated must be dry, the temperature of the air and surface at least
+5 °C, and the relative humidity of the air below 80 %.
Remove dirt and dust from the surfaces. Apply BioWash, diluted with water (mixing ratio 1:2), on mold affected surfaces with a sponge, smooth brush or spray. Fill the surfaces with suitable Presto or Prestonit filler, if needed, and sand the dried surface. Remove sanding dust.
When using ProSeal prior to encapsulation with AsbestGuard or to bind loose fibres after cleaning, study the separate treatment program carefully.
Apply ProSeal 1 time with brush, roller or spray. ProSeal should not be diluted.
Cleaning of tools
Remove excess paint from tools and clean them with water. Tikkurila Tool Cleaner is recommended for removing hardened paint from the tools.

ProSeal contains VOC max. 30 g/l.
