Temafloor AC610 Clear - Solvent-free acrylic top lacquer
|DESCRIPTION||A two-component, solvent-free acrylic top lacquer.|
Suitable for topcoating of Temafloor AC509 and Temafloor AC501 acrylic screeds. Especially for hard mechanical abrasion in dry interior premises.

|Application conditions||The relative humidity of the concrete should not exceed 97%. The temperature of the ambient air, surface or coating should not fall below +5ºC during either application or drying. Relative humidity of air should not exceed 80%.|
Remove laitance by power grinding, vacuum grit blasting or hydrochloric acid etching. Choose the method best suited for the premises. After grinding remove dust carefully with a vacuum cleaner. Hydrochloric acid etching is carried out with diluted hydrochloric acid (1 part concentrated hydrochloric acid, 4 parts water). Rinse with plenty of water. Dry the floor.
Remove all grease, oil, chemicals and other impurities by MAALIPESU detergent. Remove old peeling paint layer by grinding, milling or vacuum grit blasting. Choose the method best suited for the premises. Clean out pot-holes removing all loose friable material. Open cracks with e.g. an abrasive tool. Remove loose material and dust.
|Diluting||Do not thin.|
|Lacquering||Topcoating can be carried out after the coating or screed has cured. Pour the mixture onto the floor, spread with a rubber trowel and level with a roller.
Observe a right amount of hardener. Using excessive amounts of hardener can cause yellowing and weaken the properties of the topcoat. Film thickness of Temafloor AC610 Clear should be 0.3–0.7 mm. Larger or too thick film thickness may also cause yellowing and delamination of the topcoat.
|Mixing of components||Mix the correct proportions of base and hardener powder thoroughly (approx. 2 minutes) by using a hand drill with a paddle, concrete mixer or power mixer. The amount of mixture depends on the area to be coated and on the pot life of the mixture. Insufficient mixing or incorrect mixing ratio will result in uneven drying of the surface, weaken the properties of the varnish and risk the success of the application.|
|Cleaning of tools||Cleaning of equipment with Thinner 006 1400 or Temafloor AC Clean.|
