|DESCRIPTION||A one-component moisture-curing polyurethane primer and topcoat.|
|PRODUCT FEATURES||Easy to apply due to one-component formulation.
|Recommended uses||For varnishing of concrete, asbestos cement and other mineral floors. For topcoating of Mosaic floors.|
|Features||Temafloor 25 Clear is dust binding and prevents impurities from being absorbed into the surface. Excellent resistance to abrasion.
Fire Classification: BFL-s1 according to EN 13501-1
Coverage on concrete floors is on the average 4 - 7 m2/l.
Practical coverage depends on the porosity of the substrate and on the application method.
|Application method||By brush or roller.|
|Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity||
Dust dry after 3 hours
Touch dry after 3½ hours
Recoatable after 4–12 hours
Fully cured after 24 hours
Note! If the relative
humidity of air is below 50% drying will be retarded.
|Solids volume||approx. 40 %.|
|Product code||005 5750|
|Application conditions||The relative humidity of the concrete should not exceed 97%. The temperature of the ambient air, surface or coating should not fall below +5ºC during either application or drying. Relative humidity of air should be 50–90 %.|
Remove laitance by power grinding or hydrochloric acid etching. Choose the method best suited for the premises. After grinding remove dust carefully with a vacuum cleaner. Hydrochloric acid etching is carried out with diluted hydrochloric acid (1 part concentrated hydrochloric acid, 4 parts water). Rinse with plenty of water and let the floor dry.
Remove all grease, oil, chemicals and other impurities by MAALIPESU detergent. Remove old peeling paint layer by grinding. Clean out pot-holes removing all loose friable material. Open cracks with e.g. an abrasive tool. Remove loose material and dust.
Cementitious levelling screed
Check compatibility with the levelling screed manufacturer.
|Priming||Prime using unthinned Temafloor 25 Clear. Pour the varnish onto the floor and apply evenly. If the primer is absorbed into the concrete, repeat the priming immediately using "wet-on-wet" technique.
